Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on June 09, 2022We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the waterfront sites. We had a deck, lounge chair, table and chairs and a gas grill. The site was very pretty ad large. It was fairly private and not a typical KOA. The dog park is nice and decent sized. It's a great base to explore the white mountains, North Conway, Mt. Washington areas. We did have a little problem getting level and the exit road was tight for us in a 38' motorhome.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful.

This is one of our favorites! They have "Super Sites" overlooking the lake that are huge! Lots of amenities and activities for the kids. Very dog friendly - they have a huge dog park with agility equipment, as well as an off-leash dog swim beach!
We are in a 36' motorhome and it is a little tight getting into some spots, and the drive around out of the park can be a little tight, but very manageable. Some of the neighbors across the lake also like to shoot off fireworks sometimes, so can get a little noisy at times. Quiet hours are observed by most of the campers, so usually nice and quiet!

We stayed as part of the Spring Fling Fiberglass rally. This was a great campground. Staff was so helpful, warm and friendly. Great hiking trails. Nice pond for kayaking. Beautiful wooded campsites. Almost felt like I was at a state park. Quiet, peaceful but friendly. Love the little camp store too. Hot showers! Great WiFi!! Strong Verizon wireless signal. Within 20ish minute drive to many retail shops and restaurants. Also, RV shop within 20 min too. (We had to make a minor repair).

This was our first stay at a KOA and we were excited to see if it lived up to the KOA reputation. Unfortunately it did not. While the staff was friendly, our site was less than ideal. We booked a premium site - pull through with full hookups. Arrived to find we had no power (breaker on main box had flipped) and our site was inches from our neighbors on either side. Absolutely no privacy. That and the facility looks dated. Would not return.

There are so many good things about this campground. It’s a great location with beautiful vistas. There’s some beautiful sites on the lake. There’s great old growth trees. The blueberry pancakes (available on weekends) we’re the best I’ve ever had anywhere.
Unfortunately the campground is extremely challenging for big rigs. There’s not a lot of space at the entrance. We pulled up to the registration sign. We were asked to back up. Getting around the campground is tight for a big rig. The site we were given had large trees to each side. We struggled to position our fifth wheel so we could open slides. It’s also very tight to maneuver through the campground on the way out.
