“Haunted corn maze (seasonal)”
From September 16 to November 4 on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm you can pick free will donation pumpkins and enjoy the corn maze at Camp Fontanelle. Have you ever walked . . . . all alone . . . . in the depths . . . . . of a haunted maze . . . all alone . . . . but knowing that each rustle of the corn . . . . really means you are not alone! Once you've entered . . . . there's no turning back . . . . . and there's no guarantee . . . . that you'll find your way out!! Haunted houses provide great fun and frights each Halloween season, however a haunted corn maze raises the thrills to a whole new level. Visit Camp Fontanelle's haunted maze from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on October 20, 26, and 27. Camp Fontanelle's maze is located 2 miles south of Highway 91 at Fontanelle about 15 miles west of Blair. This year's Girl Scouts theme celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts. The 9 acre maze takes approximately 45 min. - 1 hour to solve the long part and 10-20 minutes for the short part during the day with a map. Imagine the fun you'll have solving the maze at night! Bring a flashlight and extra batteries. There is safety in numbers. The haunted maze may not be appropriate for smaller children or those easily scared though there will be a "dark only" portion with no spooks this year that will be better for the younger crowd. Great for a date, at dusk a free outdoor movie will also be shown on our big screen on haunted nights. Bring your own lawn chair and s'mores and sit around a campfire while watching the movie. Make time to search 3 acres of free will donation pumpkins and gourds. (Boxes are around the patch for donations, come any time) Pass ports and scavenger hunts make the maze interactive. From 2 pm to 6 pm on weekends, laser tag and pony rides are also available with hay rack rides every ½ hour. Visit the petting barn or cook on a free campfire. A bouncy house is also available for the little ones. A new 65' x 31' jumping pillow will delight kids of all ages. Admission is $6 (age 12 and over) and $4 (ages 3-11). Groups may make reservations and $1 off coupons are also available at our "Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze" site. Regular corn maze hours of operation are 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays starting through Sunday November 4th. Groups may make reservations through the "pumpkin patch & corn maze" link to visit outside of regular operating hours. Almost all concession stand items are only $1, and concessions are available only during regular operating hours and haunted nights. Cash or check only for all admission, concessions, and laser tag.
The place is very clean and the maze itself was amazing. We had so fun much playing at the Pumpkin patch and Corn maze. There were also a laser tag game and rides that we enjoyed. All of the activities were surely be fun for all ages. The admission fee was reasonable. The staff was friendly and approachable.
