The Historic Burlington County Prison Museum was designed by famed architect Robert Mills in 1809 and opened its doors to inmates in 1811. The three floors of cells showcases original front door and cell doors, graffiti by prisoners, a huge courtyard, and a replica gallows. When it closed in 1965 it was the oldest operating prison in the United States. It is a worthwhile place to stop if you are a history buff or into the paranormal.
