“A taste of the Big Easy”
The Cajun Connection was established November 7, 1995. The Cajun Connection is owned and operated by Ron McFarlain who is also the Cajun Chef. Ron was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in the heart of Cajun Country. He is the driving force behind the restaurant. All of the cajun dishes on the menu are comprised from Ron's own recipes. Ron's specialties consist of fresh battered Louisiana alligator, gumbo, jambalaya, etouffee', jumbo shrimp, boudin made weekly, and roasted pecan pie. Prices range from $2 to $20. The Cajun Connection hosts a crawfish boil after Ron makes a trip to Louisiana for supplies. Keep checking back for the next crawfish boil or event.
this place is AMAZING. Cajun Ron is the best and the bread pudding is to die for. This is my mom and my place when we have girls nights out, we dont go anywhere else
Yum! Blackened steak, jumbalaya, hush puppies, chicken poy boy, red beans & rice. It was all good. The whole family liked it.
The best food and atmosphere! Went in 2019 with big group of gals. Cajun Ron was super fun and wanted everyone to have an authentic experience and shared some of his family history.
Very worth the stop, with great food and a super fun ambiance.
AMAZING FOOD! Love that Chef Ron comes out to chat with customers and recommend Cajun faves...authentic and delicious homemade food. Don't miss the pecan pie or the Key Lime pie. Or the ettouffe...or the red beans and rice...going back again and again.
