“ferris bueller, you're my hero”
The water tower in Northbrook, IL - hometown of John Hughes - that was painted with the slogan "Save Ferris" for the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Sadly, it has been repainted.
This is a "fun fact" for Northbrook residents, but this is not a destination stop. "Save Ferris" was painted on years ago, but there is no sign of paint today. On the other hand, it is behind an excellent library.
Sad it was repainted. But the town is really cute and there's some great shops nearby.
Drove all the way over here..should have read the the entire review..nada
