Portal features unique appetizers, entreés, and contemporary beers. Our glass-enclosed patio is one of a kind in that features handmade wooden benches and tables in a serene environment overlooking stunning views of Lake Merritt and the surrounding area.  The menu is fresh with ingredients purchased daily from the local Farmer’s markets. We carry a wide variety of local and regional gourmet beers as well as standard favorites.   We take great pride in our restaurant, quality of ingredients, service, and customer satisfaction.  Our goal is to create a clean, relaxing, fun, and rewarding experience that will be a big success in Oakland for years to come.  Come check us out!
