“In what was once a candy factory”
In November 1992, the Bricktown Brewery opened its doors, ushering in a new golden age of urban dining to the OKC scene. Nearly 20 years later, the Brewery has been adrenalized with a new look, new menu and new focus on delivering great food, great beer and a great experience to the citizens of Oklahoma City. The building which Bricktown Brewery calls home was once a candy factory, and they say that ghosts of the Oompa-Loompas who are buried in the basement haunt guests who don’t leave a good tip. So be aware…and act accordingly.
Brewery was under construction when we went. They only had one beer on tap. Food was okay.
Stopped here for lunch. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was solid. At the same time, nothing really stood out about the place. It felt like hundreds of other family-friendly brew pub joints. In short, a good option if you happen to be there, but not worth going out of your way for.
Visited while driving through Oklahoma, wanted to see the Bricktown sights. The beer and service was good, with a reasonable variety of choies on tap. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was very dry and did not have exceptional flavor, but the sweet potato fries were crispy and fresh. I would come again for beer and atmosphere, but probably not the food
We went on a Monday night and it wasn't crowded but it was steady. We ordered beers before 7 and they were 1/2 price($3/each). We also ordered the wings(mild) and they were AMAZING! We also ordered the meatloaf and the breakfast burger with the trucked-up patty(better quality meat mix). Everything was made to order, fresh and tasty. Will definitely be stopping here again.
Chili was delicious with a kick. 8 beers on tap. Bricktown Brown is a good dinner beer.
