The jungle dome is really freaking amazing! I would have loved to spend a whole day in there, but unfortunately we didn't get there until 2 or 3 hours before closing. We will definitely have to come back again(even though it's 8 hours away!) at some point with the kids. I wish we had had time to see the aquarium..

I have been here several times already. But this zoo never fails to amaze me! There's always something new whenever I go back. The biomes were really awesome. The desert, rain forests and oceans seemed so real. It's like being outdoors, but you're indoors! Now, how cool is that? And there were even animals walking right next to us. If you have a favorite animal, chances are they have it here. Expect a lot of walking, though. On the other hand, I personally believe that at the end of the day, all the walking is definitely worth it. Giving this place a visit is definitely a must!

It is absolutely massive! They even have a chairlift to get from one side to the other. All in all I would highly recommend stopping in here but make sure you spend a full day as it is a lot to take in!
I was dive bombed by bats in one of the buildings!

This place is amazing. We were there for 7 hours and we still didn't see it all. Every attraction we went to left us in complete awe. I love this place and when/if we make it back into Omaha, we will make sure to go again.

Of all the zoos in the country this one is my favorite and I've been to the National Zoo and San Diego Zoo. Our family gets passes each year and go several times a year- it is a really big zoo and we usually don't have time to see it all in one day. There are a lot of inside exhibits so even in the winter there is plenty to see. Our favorites are the aquarium and desert dome.

Rest up and plan the whole day here. I'm a fan of zoo's and the is the best by far. I recommend taking the tram from area to area. Be prepared for crowds. Simply the best.

I used to intern here (Reptile/Amphibian Dept) and work here (Rides). Absolutely amazing zoo! Best I've ever seen. Was, and may still be, voted America's number one zoo by Tripadvisor.

The Omaha Zoo is for real, and quite possibly one of the best zoos in the whole country. Located near the old College World Series stadium, the zoo is an affordable and awesome way to spend your day whether you're a local or just visiting Omaha.

As far as zoos go, this one is apparently pretty amazing! You can also take your own food and drink so that likely goes a long way in saving a few bucks if you're going with a sizable group.
