This park is on point. Great Spider-Man/Marvel Comics themed area, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is great for fans, as well as fun for anyone. It's got plenty for adults, and the kids will dig it too. 10/10 would park again.
In my opinion, the Universal Studios parks are better than Disney. My kids always have the best time at these parks!!
I was here a long time ago, in fact, I believe I was around the time they opened this park. It was awesome--like an amusement park on steroids, really. That said, lines, lines, lines.
I'm making my way to Orlando for the fifth time this October (2014). Islands of Adventure is always good for a day of entertainment. My personal favorite rides are the Hulk coaster, The Forbidden Journey, and The Dragon Challenge (formerly Dueling Dragons). Food is expensive, of course, so eat well before you arrive and bring a bag with a few snack bars if you're pinching pennies. No theme park experience is complete for me without a smoked turkey leg, so that is usually my one in park food splurge. If you're planning on eating a full meal inside the park avoid the pizza on super hero island. It is over priced and of a poor quality even for theme park food. The Mythos restaurant is much better and provides a quiet cool break from the park. If you're in a rush, skip the Sinbad show. It could use some updating.
I love the themes of this park and the rides are outstanding! I suggest you visit this place till night because you gonna love the night lights. The rides are really heart pounding and will make you scream out loud.
