Site was very easy to pull into with plenty of space. The sites are very large with plenty of room between you and your neighbor. We even had a backyard about 30 x 20 that lead into the woods. It was very quiet area with lots of wildlife. The deer will come within 5 feet of you. We also seen raccoons and armadillos all around the site. There was also a small alligator to the left of the fishing dock. The kids loved the playground and the facilities were very clean. The groundskeepers come around and clean out the trash cans three times a day. The dump station was very clean and well-maintained. All in all this was a great campground.

We live near to this State Park and took our first RV trip. We have 45’ fifth wheel.

The sites are large, staff is friendly & very clean. There is hiking, fishing & deer to see. The bad news is no pets but the seeing the deer walk up to you close is awesome. They have a fire pit, grill, group camping, tent camping. The restroom are clean.

We brought our bikes. There are stores close distance if need to go grocery shopping.

I can go on & on.

We talked to other campers from out of town & they were pleased with this Florida State Park.

This is a large campground with big roomy camp sites. On two lakes. Lots of wildlife. Not far from stores and gas stations.

Lovely park, you get to meet lots of wildlife animals (raccoons, armadillos etc), nice restrooms with hot water showers, tent camped there for one night, paid 23$ in total (3 persons)

We stayed here two nights while we went to Disney. I recommend NOT going to Disney and just spending your time in this park. The campsites are spacious and surrounded by trees and wildlife. While there are signs that there are alligators and snakes, we didn’t see either. We saw deer, amardillos, cranes and lots of birds. The only drawback is that you can’t have pets or alcohol inside the park (not even in your camper). Other than that, it’s a perfect little park nestled between two lakes!

Finding a low-priced campground near Orlando in January was tricky, but fortunately Moss Park as much more availability than the local state parks. This park is a hidden gem, and we were sad when it was time to move on.

The campground is about a mile back from the park entrance and really quite beautiful. Lots of palms, trees covered in spanish moss, wildlife, and birds. There are kid-friendly nature trails in the park and lots of "backyard" space behind the sites. The outer sites in the 30s & 40s back up to a lake a bit of a distance through the trees. Decent spacing between the sites. Site 39 is one of our favorites because the palms made it quite private.

This park is mainly used by local families to enjoy weekend camping. Everyone pulls in Friday afternoon, but it's mostly families enjoying the outdoors, it's still pretty quiet. During the week the park is less than a quarter full.

If you're looking to go to theme parks, this park is doable to go a day or two, but it is far enough from the parks to be a pain, about 35-50 minutes depending on traffic. Wouldn't book here for full a theme park vacation. About 15 minutes for Publix and stores, mainly because the sites are so far back from park entrance.

The reservation site is weird to book, make sure you scroll over and down on the map to the sites off-screen. I saw a lot available there because I think folks didn't think to scroll over. If you see no sites available, call and ask at the ranger station, they said cancellations don't go back up on the site all the time. They helped us get a site for an extra night. They also helped us jump our truck one day, super helpful.

The bath house was above average for a public campground. LTE coverage okay, it was a little slow and patchy at times but you can definitely still work from here.

Overall, lovely under-the-radar campground, definitely recommend!

We usually stay at Lake Louisa State Park when we're going to Disney, but this time it was booked so we gave Moss Park a try. It's a lovely park with nice big sites (all seem to be big rig friendly), clean modern bathhouse and very friendly, helpful staff. Being aged over 55 gets you an automatic discount. The road from the front of the park to the campground is looooooong and bumpy, so be prepared for a very slow drive in and out. It takes a little longer to get to the Disney parks than we would have liked, but we were just glad to find a place, so we made the best of it.

You have to book online, but if you need to change your reservation in any way (we added a night) you need to call the park directly (not the county parks and rec department whose website you booked on in the first place).

We stayed 4 nights the first of February and had water and electric at only $14.00 per night - if you are over 55 you get a 25% discount - not sure why one reviewer said the road was bumpy because we found it to be in excellent shape and was a beautiful drive - gorgeous grounds with palm trees and live oaks with Spanish moss hanging everywhere - excellent shower house and extremely clean and inviting - we don't have to use them but always check them out on our walks - very nice picnic shelters and playground and dock at the lake all within a pleasant walk from the campsites - easy access to the dump - very peaceful atmosphere and large sites allow for privacy

Part of Orange County, Florida Parks and Rec. One of four with partial hook-up( electric and water w/ dump station) campgrounds. Super friendly volunteer campground host (Doug) told us where to hike (lots of trails!!!) for the best chance to see the elusive Fox Squirrel. Elusive is right non-existent even more accurate. But we did see raccoon, white-tail deer, gopher tortoise, wild pigs w/ babies, sandhill cranes w/ babies, storks, ibis, heron, marsh hens...I could go on, but you get the idea, for being very close to civilization this park and campground is very wild. Modern bathhouses help you wash that wild off, sites are all spacious, while maintaining an ample distance from neighbor. Fire ring set far enough away to avoid setting off camper smoke alarm. 50/30 amp service w/ two city water hose bibs. We’ve seen all size rigs pull in so this appears to handle anything. Discounted rate for 55 or older (that’s what I’m talking about!) have to revisit their website to know what is the discount amount. Online reservations are a bit wonky but aren’t they all? Need to ask whether there is the ability to walk-in and get a space. So if you want shuffle-board, karaoke/linedance night go to an RV resort. If you want natural Florida while enjoying the comfort of your rig this is the place. Drawbacks: No pets, no alcohol though the latter seems to me is a “Don’t ask don’t tell” thing that gives them legal standing to eject rowdy amateur drunks.
