We saw pictures of the canyons before our trip and that was it...we had to experience this! At first we thought the price was steep but after the tour we were in awe! Our guide, Candace was knowledgeable and helped us get the best settings on our cameras for awesome pictures! Definitely a bucket list item!
All tour guides are Navajo and know the area well. Kevin gave us great history and science examples, as well as showing us the best camera angles.
Worth the money. Recommend going early to miss the crowds and it's not so hot. The driveway has some sandy areas making it a little difficult for cruiser motorcycles to ride through. Tennis shoes are a must. Maybe a bottle of water. When we went, they provided water which was really nice. Bring a camera for sure. Our tour guide helped us set our cameras up to get great pics. Would go again.
Totally worth it although a popular site. So expect crowds. We were able to do this with our there year old walking on his own. Our Guide Melany was kind and would stop and tell you were the best pictures are as well as stop to take pictures of you. You can not bring any back packs or day packs. Some of the spaces are a tight squeeze so wear clothing that will not catch and snag on the walls. I was able to capture breath taking pictures just with my iPhone.
