A frisbee golf course is on site and a labyrinth with native Hawaiian plants and flowers is available for guest exploration. Various beaches are within a 10 - 30 minutes' drive, including a turtle sanctuary 10 minutes' drive from the property and Kua Bay with white sand beaches 20 minutes' drive away. Kona International Airport is less than 20 minutes' drive away. You must show a valid photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all special requests cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability upon check-in. Additional charges may apply. *A rental car is strongly encouraged as the property is not accessibly by public transit.* Please note all deposits must be submitted via PayPal. Once the reservation is complete, the hotel owner will email guests PayPal information. Final payment is due at the time of check in. Cash, credit card, or paypal are acceptable payments for the cost of the reservation. Futon mats are available and additional fees apply. This is a healing sanctuary and we are a vegetarian community. We ask that while you are our guest at Banyan Tree Sanctuary that you refrain from cooking any meat, chicken, turkey or fish. Eggs and all dairy products are acceptable. We appreciate your willingness to try something that may be new for you.
