Captain Mike Locklear

I am native to Citrus County and grew up fishing the lakes, phosphate pits and ponds. I married a native Homosassian in the early 70's. I came to Homosassa and caught all the bass. So I directed my attention to the saltwater. My father-in-law was a native to Old Homosassa and a original member of the Homosassa Guides Association starting in 1950. I mastered the Trout and Redfish 101, so my father-in-law suggested I join the Homosassa Guides Association. So he sponsored me and I joined in 1983 and served as President in 1991.
