“Iconic Stadium... Home of the UCLA Bruins”
A National Historic Landmark built in 1922 and known mainly for the New Year's Tournament of Roses Football Game, the Rose Bowl Stadium has also earned its World-Class Reputation by hosting five NFL Super Bowl Games, the 1984 Olympic Soccer Matches, the 1994 Men's World Cup, the 1999 Women's World Cup, the 2002, 2006 and 2010 BCS National College Football Championship Games and numerous other memorable events over the past eighty plus years. Home of the college football team, University of California, Los Angeles Bruins.
So much history in this stadium. I've been to a couple of USC vs. UCLA games at the Rose Bowl. There is nothing better then watching 90,000 "sophisticated" Angelinos digress into crazed partisans, complete with the only tailgating we have in LA. There is a lot of parking, but a lot of it is quite a walk away from the field and you will spend a while driving in bumper to bumper traffic through Pasadena. Game days must be torture for the neighbors!
