“The largest dry caverns in the united states”
Historic Route 66 attraction. The largest dry caverns in the United States, 200 to 300 feet below the surface, daily tours accessible via our exploration elevator. Home to the largest, oldest, deepest, darkest, and quietest motel room in the world!
This place is awesome. First cavern I have seen with a hotel inside of the cave!! A must see for sure.
Very interesting. For an exorbitant fee, you can stay the night in the caverns. If you take the 5pm tour, you're likely to get a little more out of the experience (it's the last of the day and they take their time). Beautiful caverns. They give a military discount.
We camped a night here on the way to Havasu Falls. It was surprisingly nice! The bathroom... trailer?... had plenty of individual bathrooms with sink, shower and toilet. They looked newly renovated and had hot water!! We even got some free firewood for our fire. Very nice people and very good price for the night.
Fun stop on Route 66. We stayed in the motel. They have a small room with vintage stuff for the kids and lots of curios things to look at. Old cars ( claim to be inspiration for the movie Cars), mini golf, horse rides, and of course the caverns. Free continental breakfast.
