“Broadcasting the Wolfman Jack Waves”

Normally the exterior of a radio station wouldn't be very interesting. This particular radio station, however, was featured in the film American Graffiti. While the interior shots where done elsewhere, this is the tower and station featured as Curt tries to get his message out to Wolfman Jack.

Hi! This facility has been removed. Not sure when, but it is Dec 2023 and I was just there. Last time I saw it was likely within 2 years. There had been no power-up of this mast in many years. The funky red equipment building was quite unmaintained. The mast of course, had its warning lights operational. But the building is fully removed, with only an outline on the dirt, and no trace of the mast. The small lot has become surrounded by in-fill housing developments, and is supposed to become a dog park.
