Punalu'u Black Sand Beach Park

This was my favorite beach on the island, but seriously parents don’t just let your children loose here. Because I can’t tell you how many times I kept hearing people yelling to get away from the Sea Turtles, I mean just leave the wild life alone. If you have young children please don’t bring them here.

Great beach to visit if you want to see sea turtles! When we went it was too cold to go in the water but we walked around, admiring the crashing waves and black sands. The best part were sea turtles resting on the beach! The turtles have a cordoned off area that you can stand by and take pictures, or just enjoy.
