“An old school Italian restaurant”
If you're looking for delicious, not to mention authentic, Italian cuisine in the Philadelphia area, the Mr. Martino's Trattoria is the perfect place to stop. Here, you will enjoy old world hospitality while enjoying old world recipes. We hope to see you soon!
This BYOB hideaway on the now-bustling East Passyunk Avenue has been keeping itself mostly secret for nearly 20 years. Its dim, wood-paneled, antique-filled dining room is one of the city's most romantic spots (chef Jose Garces proposed to his wife here). The Italian American menu rarely changes, but its basics are always affordable and satisfying.
