“crappie fishing!”
Activities include picnicking, hiking, swimming, mountain biking, in-line skating and fishing for largemouth bass, catfish and crappie. Eagles can be spotted during winter months. A variety of birds and wildlife can be viewed year-round. Nearby attractions include Daingerfield State Park, Atlanta State Park, Cooper Lake State Park, Governor Hogg Shrine, Lake Monticello, Lake Cypress Springs, Ezekiel Airship-Pittsburg, and Tankersley Gardens at Mount Pleasant.
This park is easily located right off the highway with plenty of signs, it’s a $4 per person entry, and this is a beautiful time of year to visit. Loved the hiking trails! Trails are pretty easy at this park .
