Ghost Mountain RV Campground

-Hidden gem in Pollack Pines. Colorado River Adventures property with quite a bit of tree covered average, fishing pond, trails, swimming pool, kids playground, indoor kids crafts area. The old movie set is up the hill, fun community hall (saloon), ice cream shop, and video games arcade.
-Sites are water and electric only with a charcoal bbq stand. Central dump, and MWF honey wagon service. Clean bathrooms and central bathhouse.
-Gas station, Safeway (grocery store) and other civilization amenities outside the park in town.
-Very close to Apple Hill area for local farms and adventures.

You need to belong to Colorado River Adventures CRA. You can get a free 3-4 day stay if you listen to their proposal. It is an RV timeshare

This is currently an RV timeshare property, type of project. I would avoid it, unless its type of web site lists what you’re looking for. Kind of tacky, but they try. Feels like a fake experience and I couldn’t get a sewer hook up, which by the way, there aren’t too many around the general area either. It’s pleasant, but not for everyone.

The resort park is nice. It has a lot to offer, but needs attention. The sites are too narrow and too close to each other. Water and 30A electrical on each site with a picnic table and fire grill. Dump station available and free honey dump (Mon-Wed-Fri) service.
Nice pool and picnic area. Kid playground area is fair. Fishing pond has stocked trout and no license required.
Restroom facilities are available but check hours of operation since they are different!
Staff are very friendly and helpful!
Open all year! Close to town and friendly! Full time security which is nice.

Do your research on the CRA (Colorado River Adventures) ahead of time. Its like a timeshare that you pay $10,000 for a lifetime membership. Nice park, about an hour away from Lake Tahoe. Lots of outdoor hiking/walking trails. Nice outdoor pool area when the weather is warm.
