“surf, sand and serenity”
As guests, we welcome you to more than a half mile of pristine sandy beach, located on the Historic Site of Port Crescent. This quiet stretch of beach once supported a bustling logging community. Today, the same breathtaking bay hosts Crescent Beach & RV Park - A family park where you can camp for the week or just enjoy visiting the beach for a day! Our park is located on the Straits of Juan de Fuca on the northern side of the Olympic Peninsula just west of Port Angeles, Washington. With the Straits and Vancouver Island in the foreground and Striped Peak in the background, it is hard to envision such an epic view anywhere else. The northwest coast offers some of the best fishing, whale-watching, surfing, kayaking, beachcombing, bird-watching and nature viewing in Washington State. Our family park is located just minutes from the Olympic National Park Visitor's Center and gateway to spectacular Hurricane Ridge. The Sites are packed in here in the usual way, mot much privacy. However, there is a marvelous beach directly in front of the RV Park, reserved for guests only which makes up for the sites! The staff and the guests were really friendly when I was there (end of July 2018) so I am staying there again on my return trip in late August. Super convenient to Port Townsend for taking the fery to Victoria. Little touches like the floral painting on the walls of the bathrooms show that the staff here really care about the place. Laundry is clean and efficient, too!

We stayed at this park for a week in late June 2019. It is across the street from their beach on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our site #2 was a back in which gave us a nice view of the water from our front window, especially the sunsets. We had FHU 50 amp and because we were close to the office we had decent Wifi. The sewer was strange because it was a sideways opening below grade, not a screw in type (see pic). We had to secure it together by putting a large rock in the hole. It was quite far back and required us to use 2 sewer hoses. Our power and water were on a shared tower. The site was grass, not level and had a very small cement pad for a patio with a picnic table. Verizon was 3G 1 bar and we got a message that said “Welcome to Canada”. The folks in the office were super nice. The sounds of the waves were delightful. We walked along the beach but it was full of seaweed that was covered with bugs. It was very quiet here!

Such a beautiful place, but when we got out to set up camp, we were attacked by mosquitoes. We spent our three days here running from camper to car and vice versa. Great area to explore highlights of Olympic National Park. Beautiful location on the beach. There seemed to be less mosquitoes closer to the entrance because those campers were sitting outside!

The beach is right across a quiet road about 100 yards away from the campground. Sites are close together on the sides, but have lots of space front and back lined up in a row. I had to use 2 sewer hoses to reach my septic connection under the RV. Not many sandy beaches near here so it gets a lot of surfers, kayakers and paddle boarders in wetsuits on a nice weekend that pay $8 per person to play here. Just to the east is a county park that has tidepools and great views of the Salish Sea. On the back side of the park there's a wetlands area that produces some mosquitoes but it wasn't too thick in mid September. Bring bug spray or hang out on the beach. Since it is a private beach it's pretty quiet and not crowded at all in September. Wi-Fi was sketchy in my site and Verizon was too. Don't plan on working remotely here, but why would you when you can hang out on the beach.

This is basically just a line of RVs parked facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The spots are pretty standard size. But the appeal of this place is location, location, location. You are just steps away from a private beach and a public park. The park has some great tide pools, so if you time it you can go see one of the better tide pools you will see anywhere. The beach is wide and clean, and the sunsets are spectacular.
This is an out-of-the-way place with a big payoff.
What is there to say you have to see it for your self i can and well put up pix but its not going to do the job the views are impeccable that means there and the trip up it is a site to behold, I will go back and you jest may see me there. Days that i was there 8/10 to 8/13/2017.

With its own private beach across the street and good amenities, this campsite can be a good place to stay in the area. There are also walking trails nearby to explore as well as other activities. Fun for the whole family. It can be windy at times and note that they may charge extra for pets too.
