The hostel is housed in two historic buildings and is centrally located in Portland’s active historic district with restaurants, coffee shops, and night life. Walk to most everything! We offer dorms and private rooms, kitchens, common areas, and outdoor courtyard and gardens. Features include 24 hour reception, free wifi, free city maps, off and on-street parking, and lots of information on things to see and do. Our staff are well traveled, friendly and helpful. We offer regular events, such as hikes, brew pub tours, and communal dinners.

We are centrally located in Portland's historic and vibrant Northwest/Nob Hill neighborhood with cafés, shops, brew pubs, theatres, galleries, and nightlife. You can walk to downtown, Washington Park (Rose Garden, Japanese Garden), Powell’s City of Books, Saturday Market (& Sundays too), farmers’ markets, museums, the Pearl, Chinatown, Amtrak/Greyhound, and more. Nearby Forest Park, the country’s largest urban wilderness, offers great hiking and biking. The airport MAX train stops 5 short blocks away (at PGE Park).
