“Attractions & Culture in Portland, OR”
We are the first cat cafe in the Pacific Northwest, bringing people and cats together. Cat cafes have been around since 1998, starting in Taiwan and making their way across the globe and finally catching on right here at home in the USA. Our place is divided into a “cafe” side where food and beverage can be purchased (menu) and the lounge. Purchased food may be brought into the lounge. We have 8 to 10 adoptable cats in our lounge where they play, sleep, run, sleep, jump or just sit – as they please. This allows them to show off their stuff and make people want to take them home. We have adopted out 75 cats as of September 13, 2015.
