Mumbo Gumbo was opened in May 2015 by M1 Concepts. Both Matt, and Sam (who is originally from Alabama) have a deep love for Southern cooking. We have drawn from creole, cajun, and southern fare to bring Mumbo Gumbo to PDX. Many of our ingredients are sourced locally. Those that aren't we only buy from sustainable purveyors. Our food is a labor of love, please enjoy.
