“Providence meets Paris: Crepes, Smoothies, and Waffles”
Just off of Thayer Street, on the East Side of Providence are some of the best crêpes this side of Paris. Enjoy La Creperie's all natural crêpes, smoothies and wraps in the cafe setting, or take them to go. La Creperie is open seven days a week, Friday and Saturday until 2a.m.
This is a cute little find tucked around the corner from Thayer, down a barely-there alley. It's actually hard to find a place for late night food around Thayer, but somehow La Creperie totally defies that: normally it stays open til midnight (which is cool in and of itself because you can't top late-night crepes), but they let me know that if they're busy and people keep coming, they'll keep the doors open for a few more hours! My friend said the savory crepe was a bit dry. I had a blueberry smoothie though with some protein-y add-ins, and it was great.
A really cute vibe specializing in smoothies, waffles, and crepes! Only two people can work behind their counter, so when demand gets high service here can be a bit slow. But the final product was worth it. I had a delicious Hawaiian smoothie (that accommodated my no-lactose policy) and a sweet crepe. Other friends had savory crepes which they were less satisfied with.
