“Specialty cocktails”
Located down a side street between Westminster and Weybosset, Jay Carr’s somewhat hidden gem boasts artfully-made cocktails comprised of old school spirits, handmade syrups, bitters, fresh juices and impressive ice cubes. The contemporary space has high ceilings, brick walls and a dominant U-shaped bar with stools all around it. Several cubbies and tables and chairs provide more intimacy, and though there's plenty of standing room, quarters can be tight when it’s busy.
