This is a very clean campground. A little pricey, however we have seen higher! We were surprised that the pool was already closed, it’s not even Labor Day weekend. Saw a mom and her kids were walking around in their swimwear. I felt badly for them!
It’s a good location if you want to go to Royal Gorge or to Colorado Springs. There are some trees here. Just off the highway and the big trucks can be heard rumbling along. We would stay here again.

Clean campground with huge fenced dog area. Water at sites all year.

We didn’t meet anyone. We used night check in and left early. Filled up on water.

Nice laundry facility, very clean. Pretty quiet considering you are fairly close to freeway

Please note they bring in all the water by truck. It’s good water but they ask you not waste it. Fair enough.

You have to pay extra to rent a fire pit. Pool and jumping pad were not open yet (no biggie to us). Tether ball didn’t have a ball on it, assuming maybe that’s seasonal.
Hot tub isn’t a commercial tub and there was already a couple in it, so we didn’t get in. Dog park is HUGE - the dogs loved it! But, it’s pretty far away from the camp sites, back behind where people store their campers. I personally didn’t feel safe bringing the dogs all the way out there by myself.
They said they didn’t have a site to accommodate us with our toad attached, so we had to unhook. When we went to pull in to the spot they assigned us, it was occupied. They finally got us into a site, which was large enough to accommodate us with our toad attached, so we re-hooked up. It was annoying that we had to unhook for no reason, and it took them 3 tries to get us into a site.
Overall though, park was clean. Gravel. Level. We would not choose to stay here again, but it’s a fine place for a one night stop.

If you are coming from the south on I-25, use the exit before. The one lane bridge under the insterstate is 13'-3". The road will take you out of your way, but it's not too bad. Coming from the north, it's a tight turn to the frontange road. We took Hwy 50 to Purcel.
Spots are level and big. The private patio and other patio spots are the best. Friendly hosts. Close to interstate and train - but it is a KOA.

I just stayed at the Pueblo KOA and had a terrible interaction with a worker named Mike that claimed to be the owner. I was driving too fast and instead of telling me to slow down, he screamed at me and violently waved his fists at me. I then said "oops", waved my hand and slowed down. This was not the end of the interaction you see, Mike tore down the driveway going faster than the posted 5 MPH limit in his golf cart and chased me down to scream at me once again. I told him that he could talk to me that way and he then screamed at me again. Literally, he screamed at me. When I told him that I did slow down, he screamed again at me and I then told him I would report him to corporate. He said, “Good, want the number?” I said, "yes and what is your name?" and he told me Mike and that he owned the place.

I have stayed at many many KOA and prefer them but I have never been spoken to the way Mike spoke to me. I will never frequent this KOA again. I am very disappointed and hope that Mike is spoken to on how to treat people with better customer service. Beware if you stay here!

Plus it is very windy with little to no shade on dirt.

We arrived in Pueblo to start our work camping experience in mid-August 2020 and liked it so much we extended our stay until March 2021. This KOA has had a lot of attention to detail put into it and it shows. Yes it is right on Interstate 25 so you get highway noise, but it is also a KOA Journey which means it is convenient to main thoroughfares. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and well kept and the views of Pikes Peak, and other front range mountains are amazing. The sites are spacious and all pull through with cable TV at every site and wifi. The campground is open year round and does have long term stay options. We highly recommend the Pueblo KOA which was recently awarded KOA Campground of the Year!

My opinion is that my assigned space was too small and should not be a camp site at all. The whole N row only has one entry/exit and gets blocked by people checking in. I walked the rest of the park and the other sites looked good. Used the showers and they are clean. This was my third stay at a KOA park and it ranks at the bottom. If asked I will say "If possible stay outside of row N." I would also mention the freeway and train noise, Also, be careful of the tunnel if coming form the south. I didn't sleep the first night. I come to Pueblo once a year, I will not stay here again.

Really nice people and great amenities. They’ll fill up your propane tanks for a small fee and offer laundry too. Pretty views of the high desert as well.

For starters, the staff was very friendly and helpful, no complaints there. Hookups and room between sites was also satisfactory. Accessing this park and then maneuvering around inside are where my complaints lie. Oh, and their phony two-device WiFi allowance when you pay for 4 guests. That's just dumb.

As stated previously in another review, if you are northbound on I-25 and use exit 108 as most navigation recommends, you find yourself at a single-lane "tunnel" underpass with an overhead clearance of 13' 3" just to gain access to the west side of the interstate. If you have anything close to 13-ft tall, I wouldn't chance it. I had to remerge onto I-25 to take the next exit (110) to the north in hopes of being able to cross over and double back. I was met with ANOTHER single-lane tunnel underpass that was marked at 13' 10" so I took a chance with my 13' 3" rig. The guy who was waiting on the other side said I only had a couple inches and barely made it through. Why these issues are not clearly stated on their website, I do not understand.

Once in the park, I found that all turns and angles within are not very forgiving to my 43-ft 5th wheel. I dare say you need to be under 36' to be able to navigate easily. One-way vs two-way roads are nit well identified, either, so you just kind of have to do your best until you encounter a sign stopping you. It's all dirt roads and width variances don't help any. For what I paid for a night, I definitely expected more.

A very nice and well kept campground. The staff were all pleasant and it was treat to be able to have pizza delivered directly to our trailer.
