“Historic Lake Michigan lighthouse”

The Village of Wind Point, Wisconsin (population 1,723) is located on Lake Michigan north of Racine. The Village is governed by a seven-member Village Board of Trustees.  Incorporated in 1954, Wind Point’s 776 housing units surround the historic Wind Point Lighthouse.  This 1.27 square mile jewel is also home to Wingspread, a National Historic Landmark residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that is now the Johnson Foundation conference center.
