“Large statue of a cyborg-miner.”
Large statue of a cyborg-miner. A ten-foot-tall statue of a miner resembles an imposing cyborg with large chunks of its body shot away.
What a beautiful tribute to the resiliency of robots and coal miners. The intersection between hard and soft, strong and fragile brought tears to my 89 year old grandmother's eyes before she exclaimed, "Where's the nearest bathroom."
Robo Cop or Cyborgs have nothing to do with this. A nice bronze statue though.
Total waste of a trip. We were looking forward to "Robo Cop" but it has nothing yo do with robo cop or cyborgs, it's just a stylized coal miner. I was very disapointed.
Unless you have a reason to drive through the town or visit the medical center next to the statue this is not worth the detour on a road trip. The statue is cool just not worth the stop.
random!
It was a fun side trip off the highway. Great photo op. The statue isn't as tall as I imagined. Still cool and FREE fun!
A cool-looking statue of a miner, which can be found in front of a medical center for New Mexico miners. Whoever dubbed this statue the "RoboCop Miner" inadvertently saddled it with a nickname that promises to befuddle many (it looks nothing like RoboCop), which somehow makes this out-of-the-way memorial even cooler.
Neat little stop. It has nothing to do with Robocop. Nice quick photo op if you have time.
It's not a cop or robo. Name doesn't make since
