Kate Rattakool, new owner of Karakade Thai Cuisine in Redwood City learned to cook alongside her grandmother who ran a food stand in Yala, Thailand. Kate learned how the perfect combination of fresh ingredients such as lemon grass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves can create the balance of sweet, spicy and salty - the hallmarks of Thai cooking.
