At '164, BaseCamp offers climbers the tallest artificial climbing wall in the world and a 7000 sq/ft world class bouldering gym! The BaseCamp climbing facility located in the Whitney Peak Hotel's is a world-class amenity for hotel guests, and the city of Reno. Our wall starts on a deck 30ft above the heart of downtown Reno and extends 164 feet (50 meters). Those that reach the top, will have climbed the tallest artificial wall in the world! Additionally, BaseCamp features an indoor bouldering facility with two, 15'6" boulders (soon to be three) surrounded with crash pads, strength-training equipment, and our latest addition -- a wet and dry sauna!

Came here to do rock climbing but realized it was boulder climbing. Which means no safety straps, shorter paths and cushy trampoline like landing Mat. We did this to get out of house. Crazy... Read more
