Aspen Grove is a great place to camp. The grounds are beautiful and the owners are very sweet. My kids loved the paddleboats on the pond and the share shed with all sorts of sports equipment to borrow. They have resident bunnies that were fun to watch as well. The showers were super clean and well maintained. We were even lucky enough to attend a Memorial Day breakfast which the owners hosted. It was wonderful.

We were the only tenters there! Seems like more of an RV park but the grassy area for tents was large with some trees for shade and lots of picnic tables. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and looked brand new. A definite plus that they have 2 showers with hot water. 2 water spigots with very clean water so we were able to easily fill out big jug to take on the road. They don’t have an office so we assumed someone would come around to collect our fee but never did until we met someone who was cleaning the washroom in the morning.

Stayed from 7/29/19 to 8/5/19. I primarily chose this place as a base to visit Grand Teton National Park, but needed cell service and hookups. The park was very nice, but it was a bit far from the Tetons, so if that's your goal I'd probably recommend something closer. I think it took me about 2 hours to get there. It's also pretty far away from gas, groceries, etc. (probably 15-20 minutes, and 30 min to Idaho Falls). Heise Hot Springs is close by though and they actually had a good restaurant with pizza.

There's no office at the park so check-in after making a reservation online was a bit unusual, but I contacted the owner and she gave me a site number and everything worked out. The sites are all nice and reasonably level. I had a nice large grass area with a fire pit. There is no sewer hookup, and they charge $10 to use the dump station. Cell service was weak (1 bar verizon) but it always worked reasonably well for me. I never tried streaming any video, but for work, email, etc. it worked fine.

The people here were all very friendly and they have nice restroom/shower facilities, as well as paddle boats for the pond and bikes you can borrow. I thought this park was very nice for the price, and would stay here again if I was just looking for a place to stay in the Idaho Falls area.

We called this place four times on 2 phones during the day to get someone to take a reservation. No calls or texts were returned. We drove into the park which had two different entrances for cabins vs. RVs and the signage for guiding you into the park is non-existant, and there is no office. We asked several people who was running the place or where to check in and got various different answers. We eventually discovered that the person running it was in site 16 although they were not there at the trailer. After that we just found the person out working off to the side and she approached us. It turns out the published phone number doesn't go to the campsite it's some other person off site. The person with the published phone doesn't appear to communicate with the site manager at all. We were told a slightly higher rate than what the website said. Extra fee for dumping. Fairly nice looking grounds. They are just too hard to do business with so we went to the next place right across the street. There are four or five places within a mile. To sum this place up - I guess they'll take your money if you can figure out their system yourself. Not great customer service at all.

This place is beyond wonderful. The RV sites are bigger than any other private RV park we’ve been to. The owners and full time residents are super nice and go out of their way to keep the grounds looking fantastic. Bathrooms and showers were always clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Yes there is a $10 fee to dump tanks but that is because they have a septic tank and have to pay to get it emptied ($$$$) as they are unable to get sewer out this way. It’s on an honor system so make sure you pay :)

The area is super peaceful. You have the Snake River right there, the stars are so bright it looks like a planetarium, there are paddleboats/bikes for ALL sizes/games that anyone is free to borrow from their “borrow barn” -Literally every camping/ tailgate game you can think of. They also supply life vests for the paddle boats, helmets for bikes, doggy bag stations with trash cans... really, they’ve thought of everything. There are volleyball nets, tetherball, hammocks, a pavilion, grills, firepits, chairs and benches around the pond... just so many things to do and places to relax. All with mountain scenery behind you.

They also have cabins, glamping tents and tent spots if you aren’t traveling by RV. There are resident goats and bunnies - and they’re ridiculously cute. There is no office to check in as others have said but the owners have been great with communication. Sharon let us know our site number (we arrived late at night) and the next day she and her park manager Tina came over and introduced themselves and gave us some information and tips about the park. The monthly rate was SO SO reasonable that we almost fell over when we heard the prices. We were planning to pay 3x that and would have been fine with it.

You’re about 5 minutes from Heise Hot Springs (great pizza place there!), 20 from Kelly Canyon (ski resort during the winter, hiking during summer), Idaho Falls is a 25 minute drive for supplies, Jackson and the Grand Tetons are a GORGEOUS 1.5-2hr drive. Put it this way - we only planned on staying for a month to ride out COVID and we’ve been here for 2. We’re heading on north but we will definitely be back.

It’s truly a little slice of heaven.

Thanks to Sharon and her wonderful staff, we had a wonderful time at Aspen Grove. The beautiful setting, comfortable accommodations and variety of activities make it a camper’s paradise. It is very clean and well maintained. We saw some bald eagles right outside our tent. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back!

My online reservation had not required payment, and had not assigned me a site number. When I arrived, I walked to the building marked "Lodge" on the property map on the web site, expecting to find an office. Instead, I found a note on the door glass - written in nail polish - saying, "Do not enter or knock. This is not the office. There is no office. Call Sharon at 208-523-6339". I called and got a recorded greeting saying, "If I don't answer, I'm probably out on the river". I left a voice message saying I had arrived and needed a site number, and got a text message reply, "Can I call you later?". Obviously not, since I had said I had arrived and needed my site number. It took 3 texts before I got a call back. She guided me over the phone to my site, which was a tent site where she said I would have to park diagonally across the car parking spaces. I said no, and after some time searching her records, she told me there was one back-in site available, site 8. I accepted that, but looking at my records later, I found that I had actually reserved a pull-through. Two days after I had settled in, nobody had come to collect my payment, so I called Sharon. She appeared, and had to ask me how many days I was staying before she could calculate the charge.

Come in from US-26 to the south, even if you're coming down US-20 from the north. The route from US-20 involves miles of back roads with endless turns, and 3 miles of dirt road that is narrow in places.

The campground was clean and quiet. The back-in sites were short, and campers had to park their trucks side-on, half out in the road. There were large landscape rocks preventing parking closer in.

I stayed here in order to drive the Teton and Mesa Falls Scenic Byways, and visit the Museum of Idaho and the Farnsworth TV and Pioneer Museum (Philo Farnsworth, inventor of the television, was a Rigby native.) However, I would recommend avoiding the hassle and staying somewhere else.

Verizon 4G was 2 bars, -108 dB, 4 Mbps down and 1 up.

I am sorry the previous reviewer had difficulty accessing his site and getting info. Our experience, however, was totally the opposite. With undetermined dates to return home after visiting family, we were traveling without reservations—on Labor Day weekend, during fire season, during the pandemic. We hoped to see the Tetons and Yellowstone and found Aspen Grove to be in a good position for snagging a campsite at those places after the holiday campers left. I called Sharon who said they were filled but did have a little hidden spot, not pretty or full hook up, but with 30 amp service. That spot was a lifesaver. For two days we hunkered down in the Labor Day weather drama (rapid drop in temp and very high winds). When we left the whole campground was covered in debris with uprooted mature trees. The owners had massive clean up work to do. That may have accounted for the previous review. It is a cute place with a common area with a pond, a barn to borrow goodies, a children’s area. The owners have obviously worked to make it a fun place to stay for a few days. They were very, very helpful.

There is a lot going on here, just not kept up. Two showers for too many people. $10 to dump if you chose even with a weeks stay!

Cute cabins and walking areas, locally owned park. Easy pull through sites we only stayed one night. They like cash, check or Venmo, good thing we had a check book we are use to using a debit card. No office on site so a bit strange to work only through a on site host.
