“come escape underground”

The Seneca Caverns Company offers two separate show caves for tour. Seneca Cavern is the best known cavern, having been open to visitors since 1928. Also on the property is Stratosphere Cavern, which has recently been re-opened for tours after having been closed for many decades. Both of the caverns feature unique geological formations that are visually stunning and wondrous. Guides lead visitors through the tours, pointing out areas of special interest, providing information and answering questions.  Tours of Seneca Caverns last approximately one hour, during which time visitors are led along a well lit pathway. The path through the cavern dips to 165 feet below the entrance; cement steps are provided as well as handrails. Over the years, hundreds of thousands of visitors of all ages have made the trip. Many a visitor reminisces about coming to Seneca Caverns as a child and then delights in bringing their own children for the journey

It was a very amazing cave with some awesome features it doesn't hold up to other caves I have experinced in the past but really nice for the cost of only 14 dollars. The tour I would have to say if for a younger crowd with a lot of silly stories and not a lot of actually relevant and educational information. For the drive I am not sure it was worth it for me (3 college friends) but would be great for families especially with younger children!

I don't think it was worth my drive to go here. Its in the middle of no where so be prepared to drive for hours with no civilization in sight. And very windy roads, I wish i hadn't gone at all. BUT the one upside is that there is a restaurant right next to it that had AMAZING food. The chili and the pulled pork sandwich were amazing. I wish I could eat it every week.

I called ahead and asked if dogs could come on tour and was told yes then showed up and was told you have to be able to carry them...so my GSD mix left us unable to go on the tour at all. we purchased a bucket and "mined" some gems which was fun enough. I'm glad I hadn't came just for this one place or I'd have been pissed
