The Red Wings play in Frontier Field, located in downtown Rochester. Built for a cost of $35.3 million, Frontier Field became home of the Red Wings in 1997. Frontier Field officially opened on July 11, 1996 with Opening Ceremonies and a concert by The Beach Boys. The field is also well-known as the first "officially" haunted ballpark in America.

This is a very nice stadium. Lots of close parking, friendly people at the gates and real good varieties of food to eat. Prices are much more reasonable than pro teams. Went twice last year... Read more
