Well Covid spoiled our plans to spend the summer in the pool, but the kids are still having a great time here. The staff is kinda and helpful but isn’t overbearing. The park is clean and has lots for the kiddos to do including a playground and jump pad. We have a view that is to die for and it is quiet!

Stayed over the 4th of July weekend. It is a former KOA, has beautiful lakes and good fishing, nice facilities. Unfortunately, vaping and swearing by the pool got old fast. Seemed like a rough crowd at times.

Rock Island/Quad city KOA in Rock Island Illinois. Site 3, FHU and cable. $44 with KOA membership. The site is super long and wide. They have some waterfront sites too. We like this shaded site.
Nice campground! Decent amount of area for walking the dogs. Close to area attractions. We visited the Niabi zoo and John Deere Pavilion.
There is a train that goes through during the daytime hours. It did not come through at night while we were here, middle of the week in August.

Full hookups and right by the lake. It’s a smaller lake with no swimming but great for kayaking and Okay fishing. I allowed them to run my credit card several weeks in a row and didn’t realize the weekly rate jumped up so high. Be careful and don’t let them sneak added charges. Most of the staff were friendly and the park was pretty clean. June was pretty buggy. WiFi was good during the day while I worked but worthless most nights. They have cement and gravel slots that are pretty level. Due to covid I couldn’t use the restrooms. Stayed here for nearly 2 months.

I’ll start by saying I’m quite adept and backing our rig in just about anywhere, so I didn’t feel the need to get a pull through spot. That was a mistake. The back in site we got was quite tight to get into, I wasn’t able to back in, between cars parked on either side of a narrow spot and having a 38’ long camper. Thankfully there was no one in the spot behind us yet and the host had us go around and pull through the other spot. We had >just< enough room to get our camper on the pad, we were as far back as we could be without our slide hitting the power post and our tongue was at the front of the site, almost sticking out. These spots are also quite close together - the fire pit for the site next to us was only ~10 feet from our bunkhouse and the kids complained about the neighbors being too noisy when it was bedtime.

Next time, I’d choose a pull through spot, they are a little more spread out just seem better suited for a rig like ours. Lots of activities to do on site - kids loved the pool, carpet ball, the big bounce mat and golf cart rides with grandpa.

The pool seemed like it was a public pool that anyone could come to. The property just didn’t seem very clean, lots of run down rigs parked around. The staff was very friendly.

Our favorite part of our stay was visiting Bethel Assembly of God.

Dates: May 17. Just stayed here for one night. They had a good dog park around the back of the park. FHU and good Verizon signal. Not much to say as we were only here the one night and it was all good.

Sites are very close together. You can hear your neighbors conversations and your awning almost touches there rig. It is by water and there were geese there. Very clean

I stayed here for 1 night on my trek home to Colorado from Michigan on my motorcycle. The staff was great and they have an area just for motorcycles! It has covered parking for your bike and a really nice area with a fireplace and a good grassy area to set up your tent. I would highly recommend this campground for motorcycle travelers because this area is only for motorcycles and you don’t share it with regular campers. You have access to the showers and bathrooms and fresh water and the rate was affordable. Highly recommend this campground.

We just got our camper and used Camelot as our maiden voyage so we were really nervous. Got a pull thru site with full hook ups and didn’t have any problems. Sites are a little close together, but we didn’t hear anything inside our camper. Awesome lakes you can fish without a fishing license, paddle boats, and pool with attached kids splash pad.
