“surrounded by majesty”
Glacier Peak Winery is a small winery located in the Upper Skagit Valley of Washington State. The winery is surrounded by mountain peaks, the Skagit River, Bald Eagles and, of course, a glacier. We have five acres of vineyard which produces our Estate Wines; Pinot Noir, Agria and Siegerrebe – a grape originating in Germany which produces a delicious, light wine. We also bottle Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. All Glacier Peak wines are bottled at our winery under our label. Our annual production is approximately 750 cases. Our Pinot Noir, Agria and Siegerrebe are 100% Estate Wines, which are grown, fermented, crushed and bottled here at Glacier Peak Winery. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot is purchased from premium Washington vineyards. The grapes and/or wine are personally selected and transported by our winemaker forfermentation, aging and bottling. All the bottling takes place here at Glacier Peak Winery. Our winemaker, Louis Dailly began his winemaking career in Burgundy, France. Glacier Peak Winery was started in 1998. It moved to the current location in the upper Skagit Valley in 2002. The site was selected due to the high number of growing degree days and the good drainage.
