For owners Vito and Joe Liparoto, growing up in the foothills of Borgetto, a small town on the Mediterranean Coast of Sicily meant “… famiglia e’ passione” for Mama Pina’s cooking. Born in Sicily along with their six brothers and sisters, Mama Pina’s simple everyday food brought a gentle, caring meal that everyone came to expect and where Mama Pina boasted, “everyone was welcomed to her table”. In 1969 the family emigrated from Sicily to America and brought with them Mama’s sense of freshness. Years later the brothers opened their first pizzeria.
