“one of the nation's busiest rehabilitation centers”
One of the nation's busiest rehabilitation centers, the WRC provides emergency medical care to more than 9,000 wild animals each year. A non-profit, the WRC relies solely on the generosity of donors to be able to treat and rehabilitate its patients. Every year more than 183 different species come through our doors. From the common backyard animals (squirrels, rabbits, songbirds) to the more exotic and protected species like Eastern Spiny Softshell Turtles, Trumpeter Swans and American White Pelicans.
