“amazing local diner!”
Built by Fodero Dining Car Company in 1954, the original Agawam Diner was opened by the Galanis Family in 1940. The current diner replaced the original in Ipswich's Depot Square in 1954. Moved twice in 1967, first to Peabody and then to its current Route 1 location in Rowley, the Agawam Diner remains a family business. The French Toast is awesome!
Been here a bunch of times as it's near my in-laws home, and it's never disappointed. It's always been for breakfast but everything has been great, classic breakfast, pancakes, waffles, eggs benedict. Love it!!
Fun diner, and pure Americana. The food is great, and exactly what you'd expect from a diner like this. Stay away on Sundays, you won't even be able to park it's so crowded!
I've had the hamburger and fries, milkshake, and French toast and bacon and all of it is DELICIOUS! This is one of my favorite diners! :)
