“the aroma of Freshly Baked Goods permeates the air.”
CORNERSTONE BAKERY CAFE Café is located at 359 Sudderth Drive in the scenic mountain village of Ruidoso, New Mexico. We've been serving up a great breakfast and lunch featuring fresh breads and other baked goods made in the CORNERSTONE CAFE'S ON SITE BAKERY in a comfortable setting with friendly and attentive service. We bring you coffee roasted daily and served up fresh in the Land of Enhancement as well as the finest teas, specialty drinks and bottled soft drinks. Enjoy a meal in our comfortable dining room where the aroma of FRESHLY BAKED GOODS permeates the air. Or, in the summer, spend time just kicking back in our outdoor garden area while sipping a cool drink and sampling our menu. RUIDOSO'S STEVEN AND MARIE GOMEZ became the new owners of Cornerstone Bakery Café in February 2010. They’'d been loyal customers to the Bakery for the last 8 years, first as visitors and then as residents. As owners, they’'ve kept the menu basically the same, tweaking, upgrading and improving some recipes and all the while providing the same pride of ownership and consistent presentation and service which residents and visitors look forward to and have loved over the years. Steven, a Real Estate Broker by trade, and Marie, a High School English teacher have embraced their new venture with excitement and joy. They look forward to growing and expanding the business over time and providing the freshest, baked goods around. Every muffin, loaf of bread, cake and pie is baked in the Cornerstone ovens at the Bakery. Only the freshest and highest quality will do for our guests. OUR RUIDOSO BREAKFASTS AND LUNCHES feature quiches, homemade soups, sandwiches made with Cornerstone bread, and much more all served in a relaxing atmosphere by friendly and attentive staff. We welcome you to our establishment and look forward to making you regular visitors, as were we!
We've been going to Ruidoso for years, but only just discovered this place. Silly that I've missed it, because clearly everyone else knows about it. It's been too long since we were there for me to remember what I got, but I know we will be back. Most memorable was that they gave each of my kids a wad of dough and a rolling pin so they could get creative while we waited for our food. I also remember the fabulous pastries and leaving a little too full because of them.
