“In the heart of Napa Valley”
Today, the Auberge is as fresh and forward-thinking as it was when it first opened and pioneered a new style of laid-back luxury. Michael Taylor protégée and leading designer Suzanne Tucker has updated the resort interiors with a bright, rich look reminiscent of a secluded Côte d’Azur retreat. Under the direction of Executive Chef Robert Curry, the famed Napa Valley restaurant has earned back-to-back Michelin stars. The spring 2011 renovation of the dining room and iconic terrace will be completed in time for the Restaurant’s 30th anniversary. Since it opened, resort guests have been drawn to the Auberge for its tranquility, style and unmistakable romance. The pleasures of escape, total privacy, and the intimacy of having a beautiful spot to share are part of the timeless allure of Auberge du Soleil.
Located up on the hill, Auberge Du Soleil offers you the maximum luxury of great views and beauty of the valley.
Since you arrive you can feel the glory of the place, the staff is very polite, helpful and willing to take your luggage at once.
Once they guide you to your reserved room you will be surprised with the fantastic interior decoration. Fireplaces and high ceilings, fantastic balconies looking at the valley...wow.
Our bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub!! Simply great!
The restaurant is magnificent and the service terrific!! Do not miss out using the spa facilities! Enjoy! It is sure worth the money spending there!
Romantic, expensive, and GORGEOUS. If you're fancy and you know what's good for you, stay here. It's the best resort in the Valley, with stunning views, swanky people, and immaculate service. The pool area is a little bit of heaven. If you can't stay here, come for Sunday brunch or dinner at their insane restaurant.
Built as if it grew out of the hillside with an unobstructed view of the Napa Valley. Quiet elegance, privacy, very peaceful. The service is immediate and understated. There's no reason to leave you thoughtfully stocked room, but you should for a magical dinner at the restaurant up the hill. Atmospherically, again, the intersection of nature and elegance. http://fathomaway.com/postcards/romance/most-romantic-hotels-us-west/
