“Memphis Style BBQ”
"What’s our secret? We prepare delicious, juicy Memphis Style BBQ daily using only the best ingredients. We start by slow smoking our meats from 4-14 hours over apple or cherry wood and finish them off with a selection of three delicious sauces and your choice of sides all prepared fresh in house."
We shared "the Big Ben" which was a pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, smoked turkey sandwich, a full rack of ribs and four sides - way to much food, but we're glad we got to try everything. Next time I know to just do ribs and double fried corn though - the best ribs I've ever had. There was a wait even though it was Monday around 1. Order first and then find yourself a seat. Can't wait to go back!
We called in our order from the parking lot with sleeping kids in the car. It was ready in 9 minutes. Half rack with beans and slaw. The best ribs we've had. The line inside was long but appeared to move rather quickly.
I had the Pulled Chicken sandwich with Sweet Potato fries. Delicious! We turned up mid-afternoon on a Wednesday in May and there was no queue.
Get the big meal and split it. Frito pie is awesome!
The food is good, but I personally don't think it was worth the wait-- the line is always out the door and around the block. Also they only serve food until they run out, so there's the risk of waiting in line for what could end up being hours, only to be turned away.
Best Full rack ribs. So tender and you wouldn't need a sauce because it's that good.
I went there on my recent trip to St. Louis, and I must say it was one of the highlights of the trip. I got a pulled pork/chicken sandwich with baked beans, and cole slaw. I have to say it was one of the best BBQ joints I've been to in recent memory. I actually didn't wait in line whatsoever. We just walked in around 4pm, ordered our food, and ate within 15 minutes. Overall 5/5 for an excellent meal.
We ordered the half slab ribs, burnt ends, beans, and potato salad along with 2 drinks.
The ribs are phenomenal- terrific flavor and seasoning. At each table is 4 bbq sauce options, or eat the ribs as is.
Our only complaint is the small drink cups these are child size.
I. Loved. Pappy's. They had amazing sweet potato fries and the best brisket I've ever eaten (get the burnt ends if they have it on the menu). We went on a Friday afternoon around 2:30 and that seemed to be the tail end of the lunch rush. They have a poké stop that usually has a lure set on it anyway, so it really didn't feel like a wait at all. After ordering, finding a seat was super easy.
Absolutely amazing! So much food for a good price. Ready with in minutes. I would recommend this to everyone!
