“A Zoo and Museum!”

Here you can get face-to-face with a rare white camel, an Indian rhino, a curious orangutan, an ornery aardvark or many of the other animals of the 100+ species of wildlife at home in our zoo. Great care has been taken to provide our animals spacious and naturalistic environments throughout 60 acres of beautifully landscaped park. Your journey through the 64,000 square foot museum takes you around the world to experience the delicate symmetry between humans, animals and nature in seven unique regions from the arctic to the rainforest. As you enter the Museum at Rolling Hills, you begin to sense something special. It’s just after sunrise, and even before you see the gathering pride of lions, you hear the birds and other sounds of the African plains. Our state-of-the-art animatronic human robots narrate stories of how they weave the thread of their existence into the delicate balance of life. As you move through the varieties of foliage and landscaping, you’ll see and hear the natural environments of each section of our world.

Absolutely fantastic suggestion. Almost didn't go and so glad we did. It would have been worth it to just spend an hour but we enjoyed it so much we spent four hours. Zoo big and well kept, tram rides informative and museum exceptional. Highly recommend for families and adults alike.

This place was the perfect stop for our little family. The facilities are in excellent shape and we almost had the park to ourselves. The animals were  diverse and interactive, and our 10 month old boy LOVED IT. The museum was neat and the perfect air-conditioned "last stop" on our way out of the zoo. It was just what we needed - a place to get out, stretch our legs, and enjoy an hour out of the car. I told my husband that we could finish our road trip there and I'd be completely satisfied! Thanks to Roadtrippers for making us aware of this little gem!

Zoo was $13 for an adult. I thought when it said wildlife adventure it was more like a refuge or something you could drive through

We stumbled upon this by accident and we LOVED it! Our two little girls loved getting to see all the different animals. You could get super close to the animals including the rhinos. We were worried with the cold weather that most of the animals wouldn’t be out, but we were completely blown away by the number of animals and the overall quality of the zoo. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to see everything!

Great little zoo with a good variety of animals and good (shaded) viewing areas. The big cat area was cool!

We found nothing special here. Many enclosures don't have the large gap between visitors and animals which I think what a lot of people mention. The museum is an interesting tour of taxidermy, but not very informative. We would skip it next time.

Great spot to stop when driving across Kansas with kids. Beautiful grounds and enough variety in animals to keep my little ones engaged, but small enough to walk through in a couple of hours. Perfect for stretching out legs and getting some fresh air.
