“Recipes learned the old-fashioned way”
The New Jersey transplants, Joe and Rose, their son Steve, and daughter Pat learned pizza the old fashioned way – from a native Sicilian! The Florios family always possessed a motive for entrepreneurship and originally had a luncheonette in New Jersey that served breakfast and lunch, a trucking company, and a small limousine business. After some time, Rose Florio decided to bump up the family luncheonette from just serving breakfast and lunch into a pizza restaurant with the guidance of family friend and New Jersey pizzaiolo. At first times were rough in New Jersey, but once the Florio family moved their restaurant to San Antonio, business boomed! Today, Florio’s pizza is a part of many native San Antonian’s lives and business continues to boom! So what are you waiting for, give Florio’s pizza a try!
