“Mexican restaurant and cantina in San Dimas, CA”
Casa del Rey Mexican Restaurant was founded by Alicia and Guillermo Rey in 1971 in Temple City, California. In 1982 Alicia and Guillermo’s son, Art Rey, opened Casa del Rey Mexican Restaurant in San Dimas. The original San Dimas location was across from Bank of America on Bonita Avenue in the quaint downtown area. Casa del Rey uses 100% cholesterol-free Canola Oil. All items are prepared to order. There is no lard in any of the items, including the beans and tortillas. All the food is prepared with the freshest produce, chicken, beef and pork. Casa del Rey also offers vegetarian and low carb suggestions. The chips and salsa are made fresh daily……and it is impossible to eat just one. The bartenders at Casa del Rey are trained to pour drinks using the highest quality ingredients. Casa del Rey has a wide variety of Premium Tequilas for the excellent Margaritas which come blended or on the rocks, single, double or in a pitcher, regular or with fruit, with a salted rim or not. The bartenders try to stay knowledgeable of all the latest drinks but our margaritas are the best! Casa del Rey in San Dimas offers a cozy patio which is heated in the winter and misted in the summer, a fun and lively bar, and a comfortable dining room with plenty of booths and tables. An area for smoking is available on the patio area.

The food is complete garbage. $30 for a burrito (it wasn't wrapped, leaked everywhere) and a lukewarm quesadilla. Just wanted to try something new. Major regrets, almost threw food out. Only... Read more
