Get your dim sum on at Good Mong Kok Bakery in San Francisco's Chinatown. This tiny gem hidden in America's oldest Chinatown has some of the best dim sum in the country. Lines form out the door, people will be weaving all around you to cut the line, and the menu is all in Chinese, but don't feel weary coming here. Hop in line and get your pointer finger ready to point and jab at whatever looks good in the case. For a safe bet and some awesome grub, ask whoever is working for the BBQ pork buns and an egg pastry. Your wallet and stomach will be in bliss. Egg pastry or Dan Tat is a buttery tart that is filled with a creamy mixture of egg yolks. The pastry is crumbly and flakey like a shortbread almost and the egg yolk is a smooth, rich mixture made of egg yolks, condensed milk, and sugar (down right deliciousness). You must try one of these or else you'd be doing an injustice to yourself. -Roadtrippers We're a small dim sum shop tucked away in San Francisco's Chinatown.
