Amazing view, even better food. I normally don't go for seafood but everything we got (especially the fried oyster po boy.... god, it was incredible) was delicious. I had a great Bloody Mary, too. Seriously this place will make even a person who sometimes pretends to be allergic to seafood into a believer.
If you can't make the drive to its Tomales Bay oyster farm, visiting Hog Island's oyster bar in the Ferry Building is an awfully good substitute. In addition to ample amounts of the namesake wonderfully creamy raw bivalves (both raw and grilled), sample smoked sturgeon ($12) and white anchovies ($12) paired with farmers' market-inspired cocktails.
