Since 1985, Pauline's Pizza and Wine Bar has served thin-crust pizzas and delicious salads featuring homegrown produce from our organic gardens. Pauline's is also proud to offer many specialty toppings prepared on-site by our team of pizza specialists. We like to show it off with our chicken sausage, blended with white wine and herbs, a great addition to our rich garlic-fontina pizza. Meat-lovers stand by our homemade Italian sausage, which is juicy and porky and the star of our Italian Combo pizza. As for you vegetarians, always ask about our nightly special toppings, such as roast homegrown vegetables and fresh herbs, which vary by season.
Pauline's makes pizza's with their own farm grown ingredients and they are great for large groups and families. They have some of the best pesto in the city on their pesto and pine nut pizza. Also you have to get their butterscotch for desert.
This place has a casual exterior and just DELICIOUS eats. The pizza is killer, but the pesto is really where it's at. I have a garden, but they must have one OR have very locally sourced ingredients to get such fresh flavors in everything.
This Valencia Street stalwart has been slinging creatively topped, locally sourced pies for decades now, and its staying power is a testament to its mellow, good-time vibes (and their mighty-fine pizza). Reserve its upstairs dining room for groups of 18 or more, and select a family style meal to suit your tastes and size.
