Fat Fish opened its original San Leandro location in March of 2009 with the great intention of providing affordable and delicious sushi. In current economic state, Fat Fish Sushi a great alternative way to satisfy your hunger and not break your wallet. When we first opened Fat Fish Sushi we wanted to not only become a successful business but a place where a family can eat as much sushi as they want at prices 30% to 40% of what they would have spent at an average sushi restaurants. We have extensive experience in whole sale food industry very specific to Japanese restaurants serving the Bay Area for the past twelve years. Our knowledge in such industry allow us to find the fresh fish at competitive prices. Fat Fish Sushi opens at 11:00 am daily but our days start at 5:00 am traveling throughout the Bay Area hunting for fresh delivered fish that turns into your nigiries, rolls, or delicious hamachi kamas. We are very strategic in minimizing overhead costs that ultimately benefit our customers.
