Dessert Republic

Conveniently located in downtown San Mateo next to the theater, Dessert Republic offers a refreshing alternative to the typical Asian restaurant. Our bistro-style cafe is inspired by 1960s Hong Kong, with colorful decor and a fun, energetic atmosphere. We serve a great selection of desserts, street food, crepes, dim sum and snacks that are inspired by the streets of Hong Kong. We are open daily for dinner and late night snacks, and we serve lunch as well on the weekends.  Choose from savory favorites such as noodle soup, dumplings, fish balls and pork rice, and wash your meal down with our Jasmine Tea, Bubble Tea or Milk Tea. Make sure to pick from our extensive selection of sweet treats as well!
